What's been happening this week in Stockland Green & Erdington …. 

Officers whilst out in the area of Stockland Green have seen a male in suspicious circumstances, attempted to stop and engage with a male who made off, after a short foot chase the male was captured. The male had a number of stolen clothing items with him. Male was taken into custody and clothing identified with a reported crime from the store. 

8 x Targeted Guardian patrols based around the prevalent times in Stockland Green and Erdington High Street tackling the violent crime and anti-social behaviour.

Stockland Green officers have also arrested a female who was wanted for Domestic Violence matters nr the Short Heath Road area of Erdington. Taken into custody and processed. 

Officers responding to an emergency call for service have arrested a female for domestic related issues nr to Sutton Coldfield … female taken into custody and processed.

PCSO’s from Stockland Green along with Birmingham Partnerships dept have held a bike registration event at the Northside Welcome Centre on Monday 17th November @ 11:00am until 13:00hrs and also incorporated is the cuppa with a copper police surgery at the same location and time. 3 x members of the public turned out to discuss local matters.

Stockland Green are conducting an ‘All out day ‘operation today in Stockland Green consisting firstly a drugs warrant at an address in the residential location, based on intelligence that has been received into the police systems. A male has been located within the address and has been arrested for possession with intent to supply a substantial amount of class b cannabis. 

Purpose of all Out – High Visibility joint patrols / public reassurance

Identify current ASB /Associated Crime footprint in alleged hot spot   locations

      Disruption of ASB/Criminal activity Signpost to support Services

       (Trident ,CGL ,Turnaround  ,MH ) outreach session - Thursday 7-9am SG     Methodist Church ) 

Disruption /engagement with businesses /Public at the junction of Slade /marsh reservoir Rd & top end of Slade Road

Exempt Locations /engage with public /door knocking mid /bottom Slade Road and Roads leading off Slade Road.

Weapons sweep Brookvale Park and public engagement in that location.

PCSO’s are holding a police surgery ‘Cuppa with a Copper ‘at Highcroft Social Club from 19:00hrs on Tuesday 18th November, 2025 incorporated with an open invitation to come along and speak with the local councillor regarding HMO properties in Stockland Green. 4 x residents attended, no issues but gave officers intel.  

PCSO’s are giving an input to children’s homes in the Erdington / Stockland Green area on the Consequences of crime & Anti-Social Behaviour.
